Message for Students and Parents for New Admission

Dear Student and Parents,

I hope you are well aware about the present process of permission to the Ayurvedic Unani and Siddha Medical Colleges.

Central Council of Indian Medicine is the Apex body for regulating the education of Ayurved Unani and Siddha system of medicine in India and main aims and objects providing quality education for the students, and takes care about the future of the students also. CCIM Prescribed  Minimum standard of education and laid down certain Norms to the colleges of Ayurveda, Siddha and Unani systems for proper teachings and training of the students.

To ensure this CCIM Regularly visits the colleges for accessing the available infrastructure for teaching and training of the students. Last year CCIM took serious steps and 64 colleges in India were not Permitted to take admission due to lack of required facility for teaching and training for session 2009-10 and now this year the same process of evaluation of the Institutes is continued. In this regard it is my humble suggestion to all of you before taking admission in any Ayurved/Siddha and Unani Medical Colleges. Please enquire about the status of the Institute whether it is Permitted/ not Permitted to take admission for session 2010-11.

Last year due to lack of awareness numbers of Students took admission into Unrecognised Institution and now their future is in dark, to save the future of student, all relevant Informations are available on the website of CCIM & Dept. of AYUSH. ( Govt. of  India).

President, CCIM
