General Information under Right to Information Act, 2005
The powers and duties of its officers and employees
The President shall exercise such powers and perform duties as may be assigned to him by or under the provisions of the Act and the rules and regulations made thereunder.
(1) The Vice-Presidents shall exercise such powers and perform such duties as may be assigned to him by or under the provisions of the Act and the rules and regulations made thereunder.
The Registrar is the responsible officer of the Central Council.
The Registrar shall be responsible for the safety of the property of the Central Council and the control and management of the office/accounts/correspondence and shall allot and supervise the work of other employees of the Council and perform such other duties as may be required of him by the Council for the purposes of the Act. He shall attend the proceedings of meetings of the Council and Executive Committee and all other committees/sub-committees constituted by the Council.
* The Superintendent shall be the ministerial head and shall have the same powers and status as those of a Superintendent in the Government of India Offices.
* He shall be responsible to the Registrar/Secretary for the Office work and the maintenance of discipline in the office staff. * He shall also be responsible for the correspondence and for putting up the papers with notes thereon to the Registrar/Secretary, for their final disposal, according to the provisions of the Act and the Regulations framed there under.
* He shall perform such other duties as may be delegated and assigned to him by the Registrar/Secretary, for purposes of the Act.
The Deputy/Assistant Registrars of the Council shall assist Registrar/Secretary in the various matters and shall perform such other duties as may be delegated and assigned, to them by the Registrar/Secretary for purposes of the Act.
The ministerial staff will be responsible to the Superintendent for such duties as may be assigned to them.
iii) the procedure followed in its decision making process, including channels of supervision and accountability;
Office prepares the notes/background papers in the matter and the matter are placed before the respective Committees/Chairman/President, CCIM for consideration and decision of the Committee (as case may be) are communicated by the office to the concern person/authorities.
iv) the norms set by it for the discharge of its functions;
The Registrar and other employees perform their duties according to Standing Orders, General Regulations as well as, as per Act and service conditions are treated as per rule and Regulations prescribed by Government of India time to time.
v. the rules, regulations, instructions, manuals and records used by its employees for discharging its functions.

Experts of Indian Systems of Medicine are consulted for deciding the Education policy relating to Indian Systems of Medicine Education through organizing workshops.
viii). A statement of the boards, councils, committees and other bodies consisting of two or more persons constituted by it. Additionally, information as to whether the meetings of these are open to the public, or the minutes' of such meetings are accessible to the public;
1. Central Council of Indian Medicine consisting the members of Ayurveda, Unani and Siddha elected or nominated under clause (a), (b), (c) of Section 3 (1) of Indian Medicine Central Council Act, 1970.
2. Executive Committee consisting of members of Ayurved, Unani and Siddha Systems of Medicine as per ratio prescribed under Regulations. President and Vice-President of all systems are ex-officio members of Executive Committee.
3. The meetings of CCIM and its any Committee is not open to the Public, the minutes of such meetings are not accessible to the public. However, the matter will be placed before the competent authority to decide the matter.
4. Registration, Regulation and Finance Committee consisting of members of Ayurved, Unani and Siddha Systems of Medicine President and Vice-President of all systems are ex-officio members of these Committees.
5. Education Committee (Ayurved), Education Committee (Unani) and Education Committee (Siddha) consisting of member of respective systems of Medicine.

Central Council of Indian medicine has not any agency and as such the information be treated as nil.
